Alcohol puts you in ketosis faster

"Ethanol-containing diets increased liver fat and depleted liver glycogen and glucose as compared to the corresponding ethanol-free diets... In fact, caffeine appears to exacerbate the effect of ethanol to deplete liver glycogen, decrease epididymal fat pad weight and lower serum leptin."

Alcohol consumption has been known to put a hold on fat loss when consumed while in ketosis, but this article shows it may have merits post carb up/pre-keto.

Right?? I'm interested if there are any occasional drinkers who've noted a quicker than usual onset of keto after having their couple drinks of the week, say, the day after carb up?

Goes against the regurgitated "knowledge"
But hey, so does keto.
