Am I on the right track?

Hi, I'm brand new here. I was hoping to get an opinion on my saga from someone who has had a similar experience. I'm 58, I've suspected that I could have some hormonal problems for over 10 years, a few months ago I went to a local Dr. that works with male TRT. My tests came back as follows, followed by the labs referance range. Total testosterone 723 ng/dl (175-781 ng/dl) Free testosterone 77.9 pg/ml (27.0-183.0) SHBG 90.3 nmol/L (13.3-89.5) Estradiol 29 pg/ml (19-47) FSH 1.86 (1.27-19.26) vit D 21.1 ng/ml (32.0-100.0) DHEA 116ug/dl (70-495)
He put me on Stinging nettle 600mg twice a day,10mg DHEA per day, and 5000iu vit D per day. His goal was to get my free testosterone up and the SHBG down.
After three months we re-tested and found the following, Total testosterone 683, Free test 82.4, SHBG 76, Estradiol 34, DHEA 251, Vit D 60. After reveiwing these results he put me on .5 Mg of arimidex twice a week and told me to come back in six months.
After reading many posts on this site I feel like my test results aren't that bad, my Doc says that he would like to get my free test above 100. Could my free test being on the low side of norm cause me to feel the way I do?? (no drive to do anything, loss of muscle tone, absolutly dead for three days after hard exercise, loss of self confidence, ect.)
An interesting side note, after taking the arimidex for a couple of weeks I left town for two weeks, I forgot to take the arimidex with me, so when I got back I decided to take a whole pill, and three days later another whole pill to catch back up. A few days after taking the second pill I felt great, my toe was tapping and I was so busy I didn't want to stop to eat, like I used to be. It lasted about three days and then my body started aching, mostly my joints hurt. Thats when I got on the internet and researched arimidex, I'm sure it was the cause of all the pain which lasted only thu the afternoon and was gone the next morning. Could it also have been responsible for making me feel good for a couple of days? I'm back on .5 twice a week. I feel like my Doc should have discussed just how strong this drug is with me, maybe warn me of possible bad effects. Six months seems like a long time before he gets a chance to ask me how it's going.
Anyone had experience with getting there free T up just a little? With any results? Thanks

I don't think you need an AI.. I think you would benefit a lot from Ana Anavar (var) 50mgs every 5 days.. Maybe a brief frontload?
I'm sure CJW will jump in on this because he struggle W/ high shbg as well.. I think he got his down w/ Anavar (var) or stanz.. I'm not sure if Maximus still prescribes these.. But, I know the docs prescribe Danazol (spelling?). These compounds will decrease your shbg and also work as a mild AI..

stanazolol 25 mg e week for 8 weeks will drop your shbg down very low (good thing). With an SHBG of 90 I don't see anything making you feel good until you get that down. I think pharmacies pulled stan from the market though.

Thanks for the replies
What about the nettle that my Doc has me on ? is it just not powerful enough? like taking a knife to a gun fight? I looked up anavar and stanazolol, my only concern is that they sound pretty toxic, would that be a problem at the low dose cjw suggested? should I cycle it? where would I get it? I didn't mention that I'm about half the size of many people here, 6', 145lb., would that change anything?
Thanks

I have been taking Danazol Daily for about 3weeks. My last full test results showed SHBG at 16.6 nmol/L.

The highest level tested was 31 nmol/L. prior to going on my Maximus protocol.

TR90125, when you get off the danazol please shoot me a PM with labs of where SHBG is. I want to see if it has any lasting effect. That is a nice SHBG.
