Will my Fertility (sperm) be able to come back after being on 5mg (4 pumps) of Androgel per day for 9 months? I'm now stopping Androgel and starting Clomid 50mg every other day.
A little history behind situation...About a year ago I was having ED, felt tired, cranky, just miserable. I went to my Endocronologist for my Thyroid and had them test my T levels. Found out they were extremely Low, which explains everything I listed above. After a couple months, I noticed a huge change in the way I felt and was able to "get it up and keep it up". During this time, my wife and I have been trying to have a baby, actually several months before I went to Endo for low T levels. I explained to my Endocronolgist that we wanted to have a baby and he only kept me on the Androgel, no HCG. It had been a little over a year that we were trying and nothing. She was tested in December and she's ok Fertility wise, me on the other hand showed Zero sperm count with two SA's. Explains the problem. Went to Urologist this week and he says its the Androgel, so he pulled me off and now I'm alternating Androgel and Clomid everyother day for two weeks, then its Clomid until Sperm shows up, then if that doesn't work, its HCG shots. My wife and I are worried that I'm now sterile. Any help or advice from anyone whose been in this situation or knows of others who have would be greatly appreciated.
