you'll have to read up more on that, any anti-estrogen is going to mess up your lipid profile because estrogen has a beneficial effect on your cholesterol. if you take it completely away, you lose any benefit you may have gained from the estrogen. now, if you use a drug such as tamoxifen (nolvadex), you will block the estrogen from being picked up by the tissues you don't want to pick it up i.e. your nipples but you will still have a high circulating estrogen level. the best of both worlds is probably to use both in the smallest dose that is effective for you.
also, this may or may not be an alternative for you but more and more people are writing about success being on for shorter periods of time. if you are on a 3-4 week cycle you don't have your lipids getting screwed up nearly as bad.
