If you don't come off little by little, withdrawal can feel like death. Getting off benzos was the single worst experience of my life. I didn't have the luxury of coming off slowly....

thats what ive heard, it can be hell withdrawing from benzos.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. That, and it takes time for TRT to reverse damage done over the span of years. The only thing worse IME is coming off opiates. They call it kicking the habit for a reason - your legs go nuts as your brain screams for more.

if you wean yourself off them slowly it shouldnt produce withdrawal symptoms too much.. or use suboxone for opiate withdrawal.

I'm curious if people take other meds while being on TRT? For examply, I'm not on TRT yet but soon will be but I take depression and anxiety meds.

Seroquel 800mg
Zyprexa 20mg
Klonipin 3mg/day
Xanax 4mg/day

Would these meds interfere with TRT meds? Is it safe to take TRT meds with psy meds? Maybe IMT can chime in and let us know...if anyone else feels like breaking their anonymity about taking meds it would be really helpful for my information. Thanks!

no it shouldent, but i would plan out a way to ween off these meds, they are pretty nasty IMO. meditation and herbs can help. and some are pretty strong and useful like kava kava . just a thought.

Very happy to hear. I was just unclear as to why he's prescribed you both benzos as they function in an almost identical way.

Anxiety sucks and should be treated. Benzos must be respected. They're the only drug besides alcohol that can kill you from withdraw.

I quit cold turkey 3 mg xanax and never had withdraw but i felt shit lol
