Are you self diagnosed and self medicated?

I'm wondering how many of you have self diagnosed and self medicated to avoid the hassles of incompetent medical professionals. I think most of us start out with self diagnosis simply because we know ourselves better than any medical professional that only spends 10 minutes with us. After talking to a doctor about drawing blood work for estradiol, his first response was "what is that?" and then followed by "what are staying up watching late night television". Talk about a kick in the balls. I ultimately decided to take my health into my own hands. So else decided the same?

Getting a prescription for TRT has many advantages. You should reconsider playing the game for the sake of a prescription.

I played the game far enough to get a script for testosterone. I self-treat my estradiol and backfilling my other hormones via HCG.

I have also spent a significant amount of time learning as much as possible regarding hormone replacement and the necessary maintenance required. I don't think that it is wise to try to self manage otherwise.

My .02c :)

If he doesn't know what Estradiol is and he's a medical doc...
Time to walk....quickly!!!!

Keep in mind...
If the doc orders blood work on Estradiol and its out of range etc...
He will feel like a knob cause he can't do anything with it.

With regards to Estradiol....I should have added nor would the doc want to do anything.( for that matter.)
