I was stuck at 245 for 2 years then I had a year off from Ball dropped all the way down to 235 then in about 8 months with hard training I blew up to 270lbs, not fat either. for me it took 5000-7000. but mostly what I benifited from was a lot of protien intake like 400g a day.

I can average 300g. of protein a day and i try most solid food for it, but still how did you get 400g. of protein in ya. Lot of shakes or more solid food?
huskyguy said:Those are excellent gains-keep it up. Solid food is still better than shakes, however shakes are a necessary supplement to all of the food. Eat lots of meat, eggs, fish etc. A high protein diet can get quite costly-remember to eat your green vegetables to help digest all of that high protein food. I can only speak for myself, but when I am bulking there does not seem to be a waking moment when I am not eating. I have to eat as if my life depended on it. Once I slow down on eating I start to lose weight.

I don't count calories. I eat lots of protein and fill the rest of my stomach with complex carbs and fats.
I've never really seen the point in counting calories unless you are on a cutting diet. For bulking, if you aren't gaining, eat more.
I'm w/huskyguy. I'm sitting at about 248lbs now w/about 10 percent bfhuskyguy said:I am not a calorie counter but I am well over 230lbs and I have to eat a ridiculous amount of food just to maintain my weight.
