Bad Injection?

After my injection this morning, when i pulled the needle out a little bit of blood trickled out for a few seconds. Is this anything to worry about or is this normal. Thanks
 
i remember the first time that happeded to me, thought i was going to pass out or something as didnt expect that to happen.

yep. and that's why you aspirate before injecting. you want to make sure you're not in a vessel when injecting.
 
yeah I've had a gusher squirt now and then. It happens. As long as your needle tip isn't in the vein when you inject you are fine. That is why you aspirate first. The blood comes out because you passed thru the vein on the way in but the needle was sealing the hole you created. when you withdraw it after injection that is what causes it to spurt because the needle is not filling the hole you created.
