57 is dam good bro. When I was running every day I was down around 50. Now that I'm a fat bastard with too much muscles it's...well let's just say it's too high. I need cardio!
Yeah, under 60 is considered excellent. 72 is about normal.
Hell, when I was still running cross country (about 1.5yrs ago) and weighing in the mid 170's, my RHR was down like 36 to 39 - my doctor couldn't believe it when he did my physical. Now, it's more like 55-60, since I've gained a lot of weight and haven't done as much cardio.
OK I was at the grocery store lsat night and did the new forearm cuff mine was at95. Also pressure was 160/96....
I battle high blood pressure right now but am scheduling a cardiology visit...
