Beef jerky?

So I just got in 2 lbs of:

USDA Grade A Eye of Round home made beef jerky.

Is it ok to snack on this stuff in between meals? I need to up my protein intake...
 
I'm not sure what you could do to get salt "out" of jerky but if you eat it just do so in moderation, keep your water intake high (building block of putting on muscle, 1-2 gallons a day), and don't go too far from a toilet because jerky can really empty a roll of TP!

EDIT: Would also be beneficial to take a multivitamin to cope with vitamins/minerals lost from cleaning those kidneys (with increased water intake).

Well, all in all, I don't really eat a lot of high sodium foods, my diet is pretty clean, the only high sodium thing I eat is my frozen stir fry meals I make every other night.

I'll start looking into multi-vitamins because I do have to go to the bathroom like ALL THE TIME. Never knew it could actually have an effect on my vitamin and mineral balance... Any brand in particular you favor?
 
Ummm, nothing I can recommend but just make sure it doesn't have too much iron in it, and if it does and you become constipated then go find one without iron....made that mistake before!
