What do u suggest to eat before u go to bed if your cutting?? yes i have a protein shake, but what can you eat before bed??? afew foods will be a great help thanks. :afro:

I used to mix cottage cheese and natural peanut butter than I melted a tiny bit in the microwave. Then I would put the mixture into the freezer for a little while to give it a great consistency. Add some splenda for extra sweetness. It sounds weird I know but is surprisingly good and keeps me from waking up at 2AM with hunger pains.

If you are cutting you should not eat anything before bed-have a glass of water or unsweetened iced tea. You can attain a caloric deficit and burn some fat while sleeping.

I have to disagree with this because yes you will get a caloric deficit but you will also be in a catabolic state for 8+ hours which means muscle loss and not fat loss. Get your caloric deficit through manipulation of your diet. There is nothing wrong with eating before bed so long as you plan your meals properly.

It is better to get a calorie deficit during the day through working out (i.e. cardio, etc) rather than getting a calorie deficit by fasting, like you are doing while sleeping. Go to bed with at the very least some protein in your stomach. It won't make a massive difference in the long run, because the thing that really matters if your weekly calorie intake, but it is definitely better not to go to bed on an empty stomach.
