Ok so a little background on me.
5'10" 205lbs 36 yrs old (decent physical shape & I work out 3-4 times a week with minimal/slow results)
never did steroids
had to have both my hips replaced last year cuz of some crazy blood problem called Avascular Necrosis but I think my low T thing probably started around 15 years ago.

Was diagnosed with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) cuz of lack of focus and energy but not the hyperactive kind which fits nicely into an undiagnosed Low T by the way and erectile dysfunction / low libido about 15 years ago and have been taking Adderall and the occasional Viagra.

About a month ago I am reading some stuff online about erectile/libido stuff (cuz new Girlfriend is expecting sex daily and Viagra's expensive) and I come across low T stuff. I ask my doc to run some blood work and the results are I have 240 which I discover is below normal range of what is even considered low. Now I'm wondering if maybe all these symptoms are cuz of low T.

So the doc puts me on the shots ( 3 weeks ago) and I haven't felt any improvement. I self administer them. So I find this forum and start to try to decipher the jargon and acronyms. Here's what I've learned (please help me if I am mistaken about anything)

Testosterone shots which cost about $10 a cc which is the typical starting dosage and come in a vial of 10 shots). This amount should be half a cc and should be taken every 5 to 7 days because they fade pretty quick instead of a full cc every 2 weeks which is what doctors generally prescribe. The shots cause my body to stop producing it's own testosterone so if I wait longer than 5-7 days I go without any testosterone and I get an emotional crash (which I've already experienced). There is something called HCG (which I haven't gotten yet) that is supposed to let my body start manufacturing it's own Testosterone again and has some erectile and mood benefits (not sure what the weekly cost on this is going to be... anyone know about what). I've read about people taking other stuff as well but I'm not sure why... something to do with estrogen maybe.

Many doctors seem to think low levels of testosterone improvement are acceptable but many men like myself would like to have higher levels (within the range of normal) and additional medications that relieve side effects and help produce better results (within a safe legal range) and they reach out to the "Sponsors" on websites like these that are experts. The sponsors need copies of your medical records and blood work (or they can arrange to have you get tested) and have medical staff prescribe (i'm assuming they are using prescribing RN's or something) testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (testosterone replacement therapy) which includes a few different products to ensure you get a safe but much higher level of testosterone (with no mood swings) to gain the most benefits. The costs are about the same to slightly lower than paying from a pharmacy directly out of pocket. (I don't know if they can accept any kinds of insurance.... probably not) but this should allow them to have more leeway in prescribing appropriate meds.

Some people don't respond well to certain types of medications and may need to switch. Results can take over a month to notice (or so I have read).

I was wondering what the average out of pocket costs per month are for typical meds (testosterone and what ever else is typically recommended) and how often plus how much the lab work costs so I can average my yearly costs for this.

How important is me getting tested for estrogen levels and should I ask for any other blood work? My insurance is ending next month and I want to get the tests in before that.

Is low T going to be considered a pre-existing condition when I switch insurance carriers in about 4 months?

Did I miss anything?

I new here too
ANd ive been taking 140 T every 2 weeks. ANd nothing else. You will be told that that is NOT the right way. If my guess is right, a larger dose of T, an hcg and an anti E will be reccomended, maybe more.

The thing is, for people with insurance, like me, you will be able to use it just about every time IF you use a regular doctor and you blood tests come back low for Test.

The problem is most docs, which I suspected, and have since found out that my suspicions were true, don't know much about HRT. They tend to stick with only T, not enough of it, and not much else. THe docs that DO know seem to run Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) offices, and NOT ONE (im not saying they aren't out there, i just haven't found one)takes insurance. So I pay NOTHING, monatarilly, for my T now, but its doing no good. I wish I COULD use my insurance through my MD, but I doubt the insurance companies will pay for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), or arimidex, etc.

So, I think in this case, insurance is not a big deal.
Good luck, im just starting to learn about this stuff also... there is a lot to it, I know just a little bit....and I know MUCH more than my doctor....is it amazing?!?

Hi, I am 5'4 120lbs women and on my first cycle of ana Anavar (var) taking 10mg/day. I just started a week ago and am now starting to take decca 300 100ml/wk, and test ethenante 100ml once every two weeks. I don't want too much size, i am trying to just get CUT. I took Winstrol (winny) a few months back and loved the results! I was doing 50ml twice/wk. After about 2.5mo I started having too many side effects so I finished my cycle then stopped. I was told Anavar (var) is better as far as less side effects? Any advice on the dosage and what i'm taking for the RESULTS I want? Thanks

Bloodworks and Gobbstopper (just playin), you guys both need to jump on board with me.

Leanmeat5... I think you'd get more help if you move your post to the steroid discussion forum.

As for you other two.... Therapy is much more cost effective than you would think. There wont be a sponsor or clinic on here or any where that can be as cost effective as me and on top of that, i'm regarded as one of if not the leading Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) consultant in the nation. Hate to come off like an arrogant bastard, cause anyone that knows me knows i am exactly the opposite of that, but if someone asked Peyton Manning if he was one of, if not the best qb's in NFL history, is he going to say no? No. You get with me, i'll quarterback your life to your own personal Superbowl, and together, we will make you the mvp of your world. Its as simple as that, and yes, i'm just that good.
Go to my website, (below) get your paperwork in to me and lets make you the MVP!

Question not sure if this where I should post this but here goes. If Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Therapy so better then testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) how come insurance companies don't pay for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) but will pay for HRT?

My guess? From what I can learn from my doctor??

TRT is paid for by insurance becasue you can measure your different T's. If they are lower than the normal range, than it is a disease and the doctor can prescribe t. But everything else, IMO, just cant be measured. To most doctors, mine included, arimidex is for breast cancer. Thats it, nothing else. So the insurance company won't pay for it unless THEY think you need it. They've said yes to T, but there is FAT chance they say yes to all the other substances that work with t.

Its a lack or knowledge and a money thing.
Thats what I think, since my insurance will pay for T, but nothing else.....but there are others who really know this stuff that probably don't agree.

I don't work for Chip but he definitely knows his shit better than any doc I've talked to and he's a hell of a lot cheaper even with insurance. When you are playing with hormones I wouldn't trust someone who has no personal experience with them like your general MD or even endo who will probably just take your money and give you gel to drive up your estrogen or worse like me tell you 90 year old man levels are normal for a 21 year old for 4 years straight and that I am just "depressed". lol- What a joke. It's amazing what happens when the free market gets involved and forces idiots to do their jobs or lose customers.

Chip is a hell of a lot cheaper than Centurion lol and from what I hear his stuff is at your door immediately. TRTgiant should be banned for this obvious shit talking with no details.
