Best time to consume Fats?

I've been doing a lot of reading here, and I appreciate all the time you all have spent in writing about Nutrition.

I do have one question I'm curious about...is there an optimal time to consume fats? And is it true that we should separate fats and carbs (both low and high GI) as much as possible to prevent gaining fat?

Thanks

Fats and low glycemic carbs are both slow digesting and are sources of energy, so from my understanding it's best to not combine the 2 in one meal.
First half of the day and post workout you would take in carbs with each meal, then I would say fats would be best later at night when you cut out carbs (except veggies).

I make sure and have all of my macros a few hours before I lift. Aminos only before am cardio.
Also love peanut butter mixed with oats as a food to add calories.

You should get a balanced meal of carb, protein, and fat at most meals throughout the day. If you eat very soon before your workout you want something like quick digesting protein and some faster digesting carbs. If your meal is 60-90 minutes before a workout, I would get all of the macros. Post workout, same deal, fast digesting protein and carbs.

Other than that, balance them throughout the day. because it might help keep you fuller and start you off with decent energy for the day, but it's also not entirely necessary.

Fat slows aborption of protein and will prevent catabolism if you eat it before bed. Good advice from you, as always, I've never thought of forum posts quite like that before. I remember, and your information is really increase my knowledge. I hope you send more information like this.
