bicep pyramiding

is it worth it or it is just for failure workouts and to get an incredible pump??? ever tried it??? opinion about it? thanks

and by pyramid, well, what i'm talking about is doing heavy curl then decrease of weights.

Some thing like the "21" workout? I believe it's 7 reps of the heaviest weight full ROM, 7 reps lighter weight half ROM, then finally 7 reps lightest weight with the slightest ROM. I don't really believe in that pyramid shit because I was told to just go as heavy as you can for the given rep range and don't lighten the load, as it will affect muscle memory. Perhaps pyramid-type routines would be good once in a while to switch things up, but I wouldn't incorporate them into my workout regularly.

i do that sort of thing every third week in my workout right now. that is, in my shock week, my bicep routine consists of barbell curls where ill throw on 115 pounds and bang out 8 drop it 4 times till im just doing the bar. i do that twice. then ill throw some 1 arm preacher curls supersetted with 1 arm hammers on the preacher (2x) and thats it and my arms get nice n swole. i wouldn't do JUST that but its def something nice to throw into your workout to keep things switched up.

Angry just smash your back hard and do a few sets of biceps after. exercises like heavy rows and pull ups will smash your biceps anyway
