Blood test dilemma

Hi my friend is a male 59 years old and He's on the androgel pump replacement therapy because of low testosterone levels. Three weeks ago He started taking deca, that He did not get from the doctor, 250 mg a week for a total of three doses. He has been feeling fine and Hes finally starting to put on some muscle again. But today his doctor requested that he take a testosterone level and psa blood test. Will the Deca raise the test level and will it raise the psa result. Thank You for your help. gtrman

If all he is on is androgel then the deca might suppress his test a little. I'm not 100% sure tho. Ig it depends on how much test he is taking in..but prolly not much since its only androgel.

I was a little worried the blood test results might look suspicious to the doc. It sounds like it might be no problem.

Deca is a 19 nor whoch has a dirrect effect on levels. It won't raise test but may supress him. Not sure because not to familiar with the gel. The matter is deca will cause a rise in e. if his endo had any doubts of him being on something else he could easily find out. So deca will not have a different effect on test levels. . If he's in the dark he could easily misinterpret what's going on and advise/act inappropriately.

I am a little confused here. You state your buddy is using deca that he DID NOT get from his doctor and he is going to shoot 250mg a week for 3 weeks. There honestly no point in doing that whatsoever. The other issue is, if your buddy can get Deca, then he most likely can get injectable test. That is the much better option. Androgel sucks donkeyballs. Also, there is no way your buddy is putting on muscle in just 3 weeks while on Deca. What he is seeing is most likely increased bloat and water for a couple reasons. Most likely because he is not taking an anti-estrogen with his Androgel as well as not taking a Dopamine Agonist with his Deca. Tell your buddy to research this shit and get with an actual testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) company like IMT that sponsors this board. What he is doing to himself is straight retarded.
