Blood Test Results

Let me begin by saying I am 33 years old, and I have been training for 5+ years seriously. I weigh 225 pounds with body fat around 20% Back in February, I went to a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) clinic and had blood work done. Unfortunately, they did not measure LH, FSH, or estradiol.

348-1197 Testosterone, Serum 547
8.7-25.1 Free Testosterone (Direct) 6.2 Low

Since my Serum Testosterone levels were average, I did not qualify for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) treatment. Overall I felt fine at the time, with none of the usual symptoms such as trouble sleeping, ED, or lack of energy. My main concern was I was having difficulty gaining strength and size even though I have trained religiously for 5+ years. Lifting naturally I was able to get myself up to a very respectable total on my big three and I am bigger and more muscular than most guys at the gym.

Still I was troubled by the fact that my free testosterone level was so low, and I questioned if perhaps that could be the cause of my issues. Also I wondered if perhaps estrogen issues might have a role in this as well.

I decided to go ahead and pay for private labs and this time have estradiol, LH, FSH and testosterone all measured as well. Unfortunately the test I ordered did not come with a measure of free testosterone.

348-1197 Testosterone, Serum 453
7.6-42.6 Estradiol 47 High
1.7-8.6 Luteinizing Hormone 4.7
1.5-12.4 FSH, Serum 2.4

I should mention that from February until today, there has been no change in the supplements that I use, though I am eating 500 more calories per day in an attempt to bulk. My sleeping habits are the same with me getting 7-8 hours every night. I had the test both times in the morning at about 10:00 am. My total serum testosterone dropped by nearly 100 in the last 4 months, and my estradiol seems very high, though I can't say that I am feeling any of the negative side effects. Also my FSH seems low, though it does fall in the normal range, just at the lower end.
