If I want to become completely vegeterian, how do I still continue body building and also what kind of diet should be taken

Here's a link that has more links to some helpful info:

Also, do a search for Mike Mahler (http://www.mikemahler.com/veg.html), as he probably one of the most well-known vegan weight trainers...
Do a search at T-Nation (http://www.t-nation.com/) for vegetarian stuff, because I know they have some info, as well...my friend sent me a buncha links from there, but I lost 'em![]()

If you don't mind my asking, what is your motivation in eating vegan?

I am of the _opinion_ that the vegan diet of most vegans is unhealthy. That isn't to say that most non-vegan diets _are_ healthy, but many vegans tend to believe that they are eating a superior diet when in fact, they are not.
I am genuinely curious as to andy_in_in's motivation for a vegan diet. I confess that I was interested in it for health reasons, but my research of non-biased and what I considered to be valid information has convinced me that a vegan diet is not optimal. Obviously, certain things such as saturated fat should be avoided however.
