Body Fat tester?

Those machines where you enter your weight, age,, height ect and then squeeze. I hear they aren't very accurate, is this true?

They are fairly accurate. I hear they are usually within 2% of the real bf.
 
actually, no, I would not consider them accurate. BIAs (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) machines are fairly inaccurate and rely heavily on hydration and electrolyte balance. More accurate measures:

Skinfold measurements by a SKILLED person
Hydrostatic weighing
DEXA (contact nearest university, always research being performed at no cost to subject... gives detailed BF% in body and body segements as well as bone density.. cant beat that)
