So we all have our opinions of this dude. I'm certainly not a fan of his methods or attitude in general. I'll admit he's made a shit ton of progress in the past year or so and actually looks pretty good IMO. Granted his results could be achieved with 1/10 the amount of chemicals.

Anyways, he's been bitching all over facebook about getting screwed by the judges in his recent contest at the NPC Border Clash. The guy to the right of Bostin in the video took first over him. I'm no Judge....but my eyes are telling me Bostin should have taken it. The winner had a better back for sure and thicker legs from the side, but i honestly thought Bostin was thicker and overall more aesthetic.

What does everyone else think? Am I an idiot here? Let's hear some opinions.

the reason he didn't win is because he has no future in the sport. he openly talks about steroid use, and even though yeah thats "cool and keeping it real", and even though thats a part of the sport, no big companies will want to sponsor him, put him on magazine covers, etc etc.

That should have nothing to do with the judging process. If he looks better, he should win. I get that the judges may not have liked him and politics can definitely be a factor. But I want to know if physically people think he should have won.
 
Bostin has always looked narrow and long to me. Like he needs more width or sweep or something. I realize he's a taller bodybuilder so it takes time. I think he keeps things interesting with his openness about the sport but it definitely is gonna cost him.
 
Just like alot of other people, I don't really care for the dude, but he should've won. Def needs to bring his chest up. He's young and he's made alot of progress in a short period of time but at what cost? He's taken alot of gear for someone his age and for all of that you'd hope you'd be further along

I agree he has an awkwardly long mid section.
 
His midsection control was poor if you watch the videos

He won a few of the shots in the overall but his transitions were easily worse

The other guy was close on the shots he didn't win, and beat him from the back and arguably sides IMO

That being said I do think it was bostin's best look, he's apparently been dialing his doses back under the advice of someone smart and it shows...he looks much better/healthier imo

Need to control the stomach every second you are on stage though, it makes a big difference in perception that stays even once you suck it in when you hit a pose

His posing def needs a bit of work. I totally agree with the gut control. There were some moments where he let loose and the thing sprung out like a grenade went off in his stomach. I didn't realize how bad it was until I saw some of the stills that he obviously left out of the carefully selected photos that he shared on facebook.
