For those who don't need to maintain body weight or want to make changes faster, bulking and cutting is a much better approach.
I disagree. what is faster about gaining 4-5lbs of muscle over a 12 week bulk...then doing another 10 week cut to shed all the fat you've also gained.....vs just putting on 4-5lbs of muscle over the next few months while staying lean?
one thing we are able to do using anabolics that is very hard to natural is shed bodyfat while gaining lean muscle. I never get above about 10-11% bodyfat, yet ive added plenty of muscle in the last few years.

Bc gaining the same amount of muscle while eating at or closer to maintenance takes longer. Plus how much fat do you expect to gain for that 4-5lbs of muscle? In 10wks I can cut around 15-20lbs of fat and anyone can certainly keep fat gain similar to muscle gain with the right macros and surplus meaning it would only take ~4wks or so to cut the fat. Your example isn't exactly realistic. Like I said, some people such as myself aren't necessarily concerned with leanness or it isn't our number one priority. Couple that with the fact that strength increases proportionally with the surplus you're eating at (to a point) and for me it's a no brainier. I'll bulk and cut over recomp any day since I can gain strength much quicker that way.
Yes Anabolics make it easier to recomp but that doesn't mean it's easy. It's still more difficult and time consuming than bulking and cutting traditionally but for those that need or want to maintain their physique it could be a better choice I'll grant you that (if diet is on point). The further you progress the harder recoups are as well. Congratulations on your progress thus far![]()
God damn, the whole losing fat and bulking at same time even on gaer is fucking bullshit. You either eat at a cal defict or surplus, so yes I agree bulk or cut. Ive run multiple compounds at all diff diets and macros and in my opinion I haven't noticed anabolics leaning me up AT ALL when bulking.
why do you keep saying eating at or close to maintenance? I never said that in any of my posts. I said if you eat a lot of clean foods, meaning enough calories to gain weight, and combine that with anabolics, you will gain lean muscle and can lean up.
Wait a minute, you seriously believe the 'cleanliness' of your food has anything to do with this?
