The above poll is in relation to bodyweight in pounds.

Who here agrees that the best way to bulk is to times your bodyweight in pounds by 30 to give you your overall calories?

Ive read numerous articles and books that state to gain vast amounts of muscle this is the calorie ratio to use. Now it may ssem easy to start off with but for someone 250lbs+ thats a wopping 7500calories. What ratios of macros would be used? Ive tried 50%carbs/30%pro/20%fat but its still alot of food to consume day after day., I use to bulk on 5000calories aday but that just maintained my weight so tried adding 500calories until I stopped adding weight then added another 500calories and so on.

What are your thoughts on this and how many calories to you usually consume to bulk up?
