Looks like I need to donate blood. Can I donate blood in Florida with these numbers or am I wasting my time asking?? If not, what else can I do to dump some blood?

You shouldn't have any problem donating at all. They go apeshit for people who have hemoglobin near the top of the range. They love it.

Your blood is fairly thick with a HCT of 54.1, so be sure to drink plenty of water leading up to your donation or they may have a hard time getting the blood out of you.

The red cross will take you up to almost 60% HCT, so you're fine. If you're not already though, I'd look at adding methylcobalamin (B-12 with a methyl molecule instead of the crap cyanocobalamin) to your supplement stack. Your platelets are looking kind of on the low side for having a higher hemoglobin.

Mine was High and the Red Cross took me. I wouldnt wait though get in as soon as you can. Whoever gets your blood might suddenly lose viscreal fat and get a spike in libido. j/k

It may take more than one donation to bring your HCT down to a more reasonable level. A decent rule of thumb is that a whole blood donation will bring your HCT down by about 3%. In my experience it's been a little more than that, but it's tough to speak about it in absolutes because HCT is not a static lab value. It fluctuates quite a bit, largely based on hydration.

If I were you I'd donate today, and again in 8 weeks, then get labs done.

Anyways just gave blood donation. If hemoglobin had been 2 points higher they would not have taken my blood. And they only took regular blood as my iron was high.
