Not postive, but couldn't you find even a little box or a showbox to keep it in? I'm sure it would speed up degradation, but probably not real bad.

i would have to say no, and even if it did it would take one bright ass bulb. Im sure companies dont produce this shit in the dark..LOL..and just to be on the safeside, put them in your dresser.
