I'm currently biking to and from the gym and am doing other cardio as well. well i bike to the gym and do my training which is 60-90 minutes at the gym. When i am done with my weight training shoud i have my protein/carb shake before i do cardio? Because this is what i have been doing but then i started to think about it a little more if it is the right thing i've been doing. I had read before to do it that way so when doing cardio you have extra calories from the shake you just had for cardio. But from a muscle building point of view wouldn't you want to save those carbs/protein till after your entire workout? Please someone give me a hand here. would I be burning off the carbs i take in after training when doing the cardio. But doing all that at once the training and Cardio wouldn't that be alot and would start breakin down muscle... ahh someone just clear this up for me please?
