cardio before or after???

I try to keep my cardio separate from my weight routine, but sometimes I don't have time to go to the gym twice. Should I do cardio before or after weights on those days?

If you have to do them together, definitely do your cardio after weights. If you did i first you are likely to deplete your energy stores and your weight session would be far less productive, as well as your cardio burning less fat.

Def. after, before your PWO shake. However, I would personally prefer to do it on my non-lifting days if I couldn't do it in the AM on empty. JMO.

Agree, if you do it before, you won't have a good session. Istead if you do it after, you already start your cardio with no energy store in your body, so energy starts coming from fat.

I work w/ weights Mon-Fri., so weekends are my only "off" days. I could do cardio just on those days, but don't I need more?

I read if you do it after your weight session that you should still have your PWO shake first, wait about 20 mins and then do your cardio.

I would never ever do that. It would be like doing cardio in the morning after a huge meal!

Depends on your goals, and how your body reacts. Some people can lean out nicely only doing a couple/few days a week.

Do it on the weekends, and a couple days before your PWO shake. That would be what I'd do.
