Casein a replacement for meat

When bulking, I understand that it's helpful to eat meat throughout the day to have levels of protein and BCAAs steady in your system. However, I'm wondering because I don't usually eat meat, could casein be taken as a replacement with the same effectiveness, say every 3-4 hours? I know that casein is slow-absorbing and has many BCAAs. Meanwhile, whey is quickly absorbed, and thus appropriate after a workout, but I am considering taking both when bulking. I also eat eggs, and sometimes fish, but I know they don't have the same BCAAs as Casein or Meat. Is there something I'm missing, or can I do without meat and bulk as effectively?

IMO you can't beat natural protein. I would urge you to try to eat as much meat as you can. If you try the only whey route, a solid mix might be best from concentrate, casein, iso. Good Luck

Cannot rely on four or five shakes a day for your protein. Why cant you eat meat? There are other sources of protein as well.

It's not that I can't eat meat, just wondering how necessary it is. I guess my main reason to rely on powder is that it's easier to prep, and I was raised in a family where we didn't really eat meat. Is there a specific reason that relying on mostly casein would be a bad idea? I'd prob take the whey only after workout.
