Changes in Body but not Diet?

Hey guys,

Just wanting to get your experiences in sudden changes in weight or body comp on a fairly consistent diet. I eat the same thing every week and make little changes to understand how it effects my body. I haven't made a change in a while but despite this my weight has gone up but so has my body fat..... Holding lots around my waist (when in the previous weeks it had been reducing)?

Im 21 and my nutritionist said that its prob my body maturing? Has this happen to anyone else?
Sudden changes in weight with no real change in diet? Im also hungry more of the time.... even tho my serving sizes haven't changed?!?
Any help, advice or shared experiences are thanked for in advance...

Lifestyle? The only things that have changed are increased stress and reduced hours of sleep per night (avg 5 1/2 hours per night)

I know stress increases the levels of Cortisol in the blood and that is catabolic, but would that effect fat levels??
