When I do my reps I do touch and go, should I put in a pause at the bottum of each rep? this would cause me to have to lower the amount I work out with. Which is best

I do ..it keeps my form in check.....and I can really guage my strength by doing so....keeps positive tension on the muscles ,no bouncing or throwing of weights
