Cottage Cheese?

I like all the food in the world but this cottage cheese shit kills me...does anyone have any good tips for makin it taste better? i heard with almonds helps it but anyytihn else...
 
I sometimes mix peaches with mine which i love. But my favorite is sugar free strawberry jelly. Cottage cheese doesnt have much flavor to it, if you mix in some strawberry jelly it will make it taste like strawberry. Also, honey isnt too bad. But like Easto said, if you dont like it, dont eat it.

Why would you want to eat cottage cheese any ways?? Unless your trying to gain weight. Cottage cheese and any dairy product for that mater are not so great for you. It contains alot of vit E also, vit E is stored in the body as fat around your skin. No I dont think cottage cheese is really bad, but it depends on what kind of results you expect from eating it. If you want to gain weight, and add fat around your skin eat up. If not pick some carbs or items that are more complex. processed foods are bad for you regardless if your trying to gain or lose.

Maybe more info on why your eating it and what you expect would help me give you more specific advantages or disadvantages but if you are trying to find away to make it taste good that means there is a reason why you want to eat it lol...

Either way let me know whats up and maybe I can recomend some foods that would be more healthy and give you the same results.

i read on here that its good for a cutting diet...if you use it for a snack..it has 12g of protein and like 3 carbs..0g fat..pretty good ratio

Hell if you want lots of protien and little carbs you need to eat some chicken breast or turkey breast. Fresh meat of course. Cook it up and then chop it up and put them in a container. Then when you feel like eating some throw it in the microwave. Also certain nuts are good like you said the almonds are good for ya. If you want alot of protein and little carbs the meets will give you the most.

Also try things like maybe fish if you like it. If you cook up the white meet with a little olive oil and some spinich and put just a little seasoning on it thats great. Same with the chicken and the turkey. There are alot of things that taste good you just have to be creative with the foods. Do not eat no carbs though, it is important to eat some carbs or your body will not metab like it should. Any carbs you do eat keep them complex, for example oats, red potatos, red rice but not much, and never eat carbs in the evening especialy befor going to bed.

Also keep in mind like I said befor all dairy products contain vit E and that will strore in your body as fat around the skin. Like I said its not the worse out there but it depends on how much your trying to cut and what you want out of it.

being stored in fat cells is not the same thing as being stored as fat. fat cells also contain water...so i guess we should stop drinking water because it will be stored as fat.

not to mention all the studies that show dairy calcium being beneficial for fat loss.

cottage cheese is fine.

ask you self this what is one of the first things you should do as part of a healty diet???????????? Drink lots of water and why is that, for a few reasons one of them to reduce the amount of water your body stores. When you drink less water your body starts to store it espec people that have consumed high amounts of sodium. When you drink more water your body does not have the need to store the water in return it starts to lose the amount stored in your body. So your statement about the water has very little to do with this. Also yes vit E is found in the cells, it also stores as fat around the skin. I know you have a high post count here, but you really should research a little more about it. Im not saying its bad like stated many times befor, it all really depends on what he is trying to get out of it. Every one is diffrent, and what they want from it is what maters.
 
because of the role vitamin E plays in your body as an antioxidant, it has been touted as an "anti-aging" vitamin, which is not true. Vitamin E does combine with oxygen which is beneficial to polyunsaturated fats and vitamin A. Both polyunsaturated oils and vitamin A combine with oxygen and break down. Vitamin E interferes with that break down process. Because of its antioxidant properties, vitamin E is stable to most cooking methods except long cooking at very high temperatures that would break down fat as well.
 
The point that vitamin E is not stored as fat is lost on you. But please continue to google "vitamin E" and paste what you find here, im very interested.
 
The information only supports it. Either way its stupid to argue over it we both have our own opinions and were both entitled to them. G0 eat all of it you want, go ahead and make sure you get a few glasses of milk in a day why your at it lol... Any one else have any opinions on the Vitamin E aspect of it. I would like to see what others have to say. Please Suar if you have some info or something that would make me belive diffrent please share it. Im here to learn just as much to help others.

Since your information goes against the grain here.. why don't you post your info to support your odd claim. If it's legit we'll go from there. Seems a little more logical to me.
