Could I have just injected into a blood vessel?

Okay so this was the first injection of my 5th week, on a 10 week cycle of Test E. I have pinned my quads every time, because I like to see what's going on. Never have any pain (except for one time when I poked a nerve in my left quad).

But to the point, today, I pinned my left quad, went real slow to avoid the damn nerves, and when I got (almost) all the way in (1-2mm less than the full inch needle) I aspirated. A few slight tugs/flicks upwards, and one decent pull to see the vacuum bubble grow. No blood, so I injected (.5cc). Pulled out, and the injection site started bleeding (more than just the teeny drop that usually comes out) just a few drops worth. But when I looked at the needle and syringe, there were a few drops of blood in the green part of the removable needle (the plastic clear cone piece where the needle can twist on and off). There was also some blood hanging out on the end of the needle where any residual test esther was.

I feel FINE, heart rate is a tad bit elevated due to nervousness... not dizzy, but could there be some test in my blood stream? If not, why the hell would there be blood not in the syringe, but in the syringe end of the needle?

Thanks guys.

Edit: After aspirating, I decided to push the needle all the way in (the extra 1-2mm)
For those of you wondering, I use a 23g 1" needle because my quads are VERY lean and not large whatsoever.

sweet, thanks metal. I mean the way I see it, I didnt have any physiological problems immediately afterwards or in this 30 minute period directly after... Which is significant time for my blood to cycle through the system (38 cycles for my body). Seems like I'm not having good luck with this left quad.

Also, the first few times I injected, I could literally hold the needle against my skin and it would slide right in, and go all the way with very little pressure. It seems like now, I have to push significantly harder and every twist it a bit to get it in... WTF?

I certainly don't think there's anything to worry about. I wouldn't move the needle after you aspirate. You'd be aspirating in one spot then injecting in another. One of the points of aspirating is to make sure you're not in a vein.

I've messed this up many times myself. I'll start injecting and the needle slides in further. Not a biggie, but i try to avoid it.

I'm still alive and breathing, so i think you're good to go.

I would suggest rotating. Delts aren't bad after the first few times. Glutes are a little tricky one handed but you can see what's going on with a mirror. Like chief said, wherever you aspirate, try to inject in the same spot

awesome thanks for the advice. I just sometimes worry that I'm not deep enough into the muscle. However, taking into account my bodyfat % in my upper outer quads, and my quad diameter, an inch or slightly shy of, should be more than deep enough.

Edit: damn, I never inject into my glutes or delts (or pecs) so i just stick to quads because even though it hurts sometimes on the way in (like a tetanus shot) its more comfortable, but for some reason, I never inject in the SAME spot, its always a few centimeters off, and that's when I started feeling pain or bleeding more...

If anyone is still viewing this, how many pins in one spot does it take to develop scar tissue? I'd really prefer to just pin quads for the rest (4.5 weeks) of this cycle. But is 4 pins in the same spot within 4 weeks (per quad) a poor decision? I don't exactly have anyone (preferably a girl) to pin my glutes for me...
