Creatine and steroids go hand in hand, they both ehance each other essentially getting more bang for your buck out of both...but a diet high in red meat and meat in general will provided you with a fair amount of creatine already.
5-10g a day once a day at any time of day with a high carb meal and plenty of water (I take mine preworkout for routine sake with everything else and becaause it is high carb meal, pasta and ground beef) is all you need, steroids or natural.
