in a book i read (its reliable) it says that when doing strenuous activities, your liver sends lactic acid to your muscles. this lactic acid is returned and cycled again by using oxygen. when you workout, i guess you dont get a sufficient supply of oxygen, and this stuff builds up in your muscles. lactic acid is what causes the burn, and the inability for your muscle cells to contract(cant get that last rep up!).
muscle mag info - Creatine is known for taking away that burn and gives you more endurance so you can up the workload. if creatine monohydrate (creatine + one water molecule, which is removed in your digestive tract) takes away the burn then it must remove the lactic acid right? the article in the muscle mag never mentioned lactic acid, just ATP and ADP.
i just found out the answer to the question i had. creatines ability to remove lactic acid comes from the 1 water molecule in creatine monohydrate(water is H20 - it has oxygen!). then i guess the three amino acids must just help even more in some way i havent figured out yet.
i guess ill just let u read that for no reason.
