Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. I've been dabbling in this world for a couple of years now, which I'm sure still makes me very new. I have used this site on many occasions for research. Now it is time to share and find out more.

I am 49 years old, 5'9", lately 200 lbs I was 185 before starting any AAS. My gains have been minimal as I am on my third cycle. I am estimating body fat at 14% (the photo is me, if it shows). I've worked out regularly and fairly hard for 20 years before trying any steroids.

My first cycle shown below (Anavar Only) was when I turned 48 years old. So I was slow to catch on to using steroids and sat at my plateau for many years.

Here is a Summary of my cycles so far:

FIRST CYCLE:
1 Cycle Anavar ONLY - 6 weeks, 100mg per day. Strength gain was fantastic.
Took Clomid for post cycle therapy (pct). (Not sure I needed it, but I did shut down)
I did not keep much of the gains.

SECOND CYCLE:(Good gains but again, did not keep much)
Test E - 500mg week for 10 weeks
Anavar - 75 mg/day for first 6 weeks
Winstrol - 50 mg/day for last 4 weeks
Clomid PCT

PRESENT CYCLE:
Test E - 700mg Week for 14 weeks
Deca - 350mg week for 12 weeks
Dbol - 50mg/Day for first 4 weeks
Clomid will be my PCT again.

I'm enjoying the gains on this cycle but my "little friend" gave up on me. Sex drive is there but very difficult to complete. He seems to stand at attention when pushed but having a really hard time, finishing shall we say. I'm told it is a version of Deca Dick. I picked up some Caber, (no idea if it is real) and after one week it does seem to be helping. I also drop Cialis when I think I need to. At my age, it helps. LOL

An example of my strength gains right now are:
Bench Press before cycle: 275 lbs for 2 reps
Bench Press after week 7: 315 lbs for 5 reps

My main questions are:

1) I seem to plateau after week 7 on this and my last cycles. Any suggestions to keep getting bigger, stronger?

2) I have always been in good shape, and really started steroids at my peak. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can keep my gains after. Last cycle I kept training hard and eating well. Added creatine and pre workout but still lost most of my gains.

Change it up..week 7 dramatic change in training and a small shakeup in diet. Maybe a cheat meal or a carb day followed by a couple low carb days. Just to shake things up.

Its hard to retain gains man. See how you fare with your deca this time. that seems to solidify some gains for a while.

Thanks for your advice. I saw it as I arrived at the gym yesterday and really mixed up my back workout. Had a great pump. But took 2 hours. LOL

Any suggestions for my next cycle? What are your preferred additons to Test?
Oh, forgot to mention I take Arimidex, 1mg every 2 days during cycles.

I seem to be keeping my cuts even with the Deca & Dbol. Someone mentioned to add more food as my diet is pretty clean, but I don't eat a huge amount.

If your losing a lot of gains during PCT and post cycle..it could just be a problem with diet.. Your no longer as anabolic as on cycle and your body has all this added muscle.. Basically the first thing it wants to do is get rid of it especially if you are not getting the protein and cals your body needs to sustain it... If your worried about fat gain.. try to eat lean,,, lots of protein,,, Don't even think about cutting until long after your cycle. Possibly add some natty test boosters DAA and such to PCT to get things moving.. Especially at your age

As for the plateau at week 7... I think a lot of people have this problem.. Some people counter it by upping the dose.. I'm not a fan of that. Usually just really mix up my training and up the cals!

The abbreviations through me. Natty is natural, got it. LOL

I'm way behind, just read a bit on DAA and seems like a great addition. Have to see where I can find it here in Canada for a decent price. Tried some Test boosters that seemed to do nothing in the past. Any good ones you know of, or will DAA be the best choice?

Pre Gear I used to develop huge natty test booster stacks for muscle gains and had a lot of success! Nothing like gear but very good results for something bought OTC! Here is a list of my personal favorites
