anyone here heard of the artificial sweetner cyclamte and have more info on it?
Is it better or worse than aspartame?

Better or worse interms of what? Taste, or health? I know that it is usually used in addition to other sweetners since it acts synergystically, and I also know it is banned in the US. Besides that not much more info

Cyclamate was banned in the USA in the late 1960s or early 1970s, due to some tenuous links to cancer. This was a great tragedy to dieters at the time, because cyclamate was much sweeter, and less bitter, than other artificial sweeteners at that time.
