short half lives ensures that the duration of the response is short and helps avoid down-regulation of hormone response pathways.
which means that it should be eliminated in max 8 hours and your body will not shut down entirely.
I don't know the study you quoted - but look up other steroid abstracts on oral administration and you'll see similar responses.
Then there's also personal experience which tells me I am not shut-down.
If the guy is NOT taking it ONCE a day and splitting up dosage to maintain a stable blood level - then advice does not apply. I looked up his post and he said nothing about dosage times.
