here's brett. the national 181# champion from the apf seniors a few weeks back. he totaled 1917. 799 squat, 501 bench and a 617 dead.

405 bar weight and 165lbs of chain. 3" block makes a big diff too. as you may or may not see there are 5 chains per side. 4 of them come off the ground (one link left on ground for bretts short ass) but one is left long to keep the chains from swaying all over the place.

thjis clip is added to the video section as well.

yeah he is narrow. he pulls a lot of back too but thats his style and it works for him. there are several good pullers who use a lot of back. steve goggins comes to mind as well as chucky V.

i stick to shoulder width, same with squats and i stick to the tempo like u got on yuor previous videos

damn, now thats impressive. he doesnt like like a very big guy either.
awesome lift. Im jealous

I never felt stable using chains while deadlifting. It always felt awkward on my lower back due to the varying weight.

Having said that though, can't argue with those results...

brett is ripped year round. prolly 8% bf. like i said he competes in the 181s but trains around 195ish.

well since everyone liked that one so good heres 455+165chains off 3" block. he fell off the block on rep 6 here. next set he hit 7 and winked at me. we may have had a little friendly comp going on. this is kyle for you guys who dont know him. his gym lifts are 960 squat, 725 bench and 745 dead suited up. he weighs about 235 or so. he's prolly the top jr (20-23) lifter in the world right now.

The most impressive thing about these two guys are the fact they don't look real big. Walking down the street you'd have NO idea they could throw that kind of weight around. More power too em'
