deca for knee? first cycle

I wanna start off by saying I'm a noob and still learning so I don't get torn apart. Ok so I want to start my first cycle soon, im currently in the planning and research stage. I want to run test-e for 10 weeks. I was thinking about running deca alongside it for the first 8 weeks. (I know most recommend running a test-e only cycle for the first cycle.) The reason I want to run deca is because I am hoping it will help my knee.

Last year my knee locked in a 90 degree angle for no apparent reason. I went to multiple orthopedics and had 2 MRI's. Nobody could figure out what was wrong. After a month my knee unlocked and I rested my legs for 3 months. Since, I have made some recovery but still have slight pain and discomfort in my knee (its not bad enough to stop me from working out on it though, in fact I feel that working out on it makes it feel a little better and more ***8220;secure***8221;). I have gone to the orthopedics and done PT and also had another MRI..still nobody can figure out why I have this pain/discomfort.

So my question to you guys is, given my situation with my knee would you recommend I take the deca alongside the test-e? Do you think it would help me?

*Also, I know most of you may recommend I take another year to let my knee recover before I start my cycle but in a year I will be in med school and I feel that I won't be able to commit to doing a cycle until I***8217;m out of residency which would be 6-7 years from now.

DO IT. if i would have gone on a test/deca cycle after my first ACL reconstruction, i would not be having continuous knee problems i have today. my problem was that i didnt not have a good source back then. i would run run test @ 200-250 mg a week and run deca @ 400-600 mg a week. run this cycle for 16 weeks. it takes longer than 8 weeks to see results with deca. you are talking about letting your knee heal for a yr. i warn u that u want to do the opposite. if you dont keep hitting your legs, and take it easy, you run the risk of having your quads, hams, and calves atrophy and then u will be in a world of shit. i know this because i took too much time off after spraining my knees a bunch and then i not only had knee problems, i had to deal with muscle atrophy. your ligaments and cartiledge will also weaken. just keep hitting your legs bro. just stay away from exercises like leg extensions and sissy squats . the worst exercises for your knees (there is literature & med journalson it if you dont believe it) good luck. you can also run GH @ 3-4 iu's a day for healing too!

Yes run the deca for 10 weeks though. For joint relief use it at 150-200mg a week, it wont have to many anabolic attributes but will aid in joint help. I am sorry zephyr but if he is going to run a cycle for gains to then he needs to up the test. Plus run the test at a 2:1 ratio to deca or you will get deca dick for sure. 500mg test for 12 week, deca 200mg for 10 weeks.

Thanks guys, I have also read that with deca an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) alone may not be able to prevent gyno. If I am running a low dose of deca just for my joints (Im thinking about 150deca:400test), would you recommend that I get bromo for gyno, or will I be fine without it?

Also, zephyr what did you find were the best leg workouts for your knee?

best cardio for knee rehab is stationary bike by far. as for weights i would go with regular squats, leg press regular stance and also feet close together not farther than shoulder width apart, if u must do smith machine do it with your feet out in front like hack squat, walking lunges with dumbells, deadlifts (reg stance) & single leg dead lifts holding a dumbell in your hand emphasize the negative, leg curls for hammies, calf raises (standing), if u can find a way to practice jumping in a controlled way (like a vasa or rowing machine pull it up to a wall and press your feet up on the wall & jump. or jump in the shallow end of a pool) i would stay away from leg extentions completely. all the stress gets put on your ligaments in an unnaturall way that never occurs in a natural setting. your knees werent meant to move like that.

It sounds like your looking for a collagen synthase cycle to help your knee i have an injury that i am looking to assist so I have been researching this a bit and have come up with this.

Week 1-14 * 600mg Equipoise
Week 1-14 * 200mg Testosterone enanthate
Week 1-14 * 250iu Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) E4D
Week1-16 500iu ED Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) (ending 4 days before SERM treatment)
Week 16-20 * 50mg clomid ED
Week 1-16 *12.5mg Aromasin ED

No one has told me any bad things about what I planed and I have done a lot of research! I hope this helps you!

You should either stop the EQ a couple weeks earlier, or extend the test for 2 weeks. The longer ester means the EQ is going to be active for a longer time once you stop pinning.

12.5 mg aromasin every day would be too much for me at that dose of test and hcg. Everyone's different, but lowering estrogen too much can be harmful for joints.

Other that that, it sounds like a great plan.
