now that i have more time, i'll elaborate on my original thought...

the basics of it would be:

leaning-eating less cals
bulking-eating more cals
maintain-eating medium cals

what about macro nutrients? (switching up from a low-carb to a medium carb to a high carb)

how far can we go with this. is it beneficial to switch foods like we switch exercises (not just calories)?

for example: brown rice for 2 weeks as your main complex, then 2 weeks with sweet potatos, then 2 weeks with barly, etc...

chicken for main protein for 2 weeks, then beef, then pig, then fish,

or would the time periods be less? instead of 2 weeks, maybe its 2 days, or maybe changing our main carbs/proteins/fats should be done day by day...

or does it not really matter...

Closest thing I can think of is CKD...

I call this Rotation -

And I have used protein / carb rotation only for the fact we needed to find out what was causing an allergic reaction. Didn't want to use it when carb loading someone.

Otherwise why aren't you mixing your sources each meal?
