Im kind of tired of eating brown rice and im thinking to switch it up to wheat pasta. Will this effect my cutting stage?

I always had better results with rice but I guess a little wont hurt you. try swiching it up and eating yams and oats so it doesn't get to boring.

I think pasta has too much sugar, so it will spike your insulin. Which is bad for cutting.

Wrong, it has no sugar. Pasta is a complex carb and the insulin response is low like any other complex carb such as brown rice, oats, etc. Doesnt even need to be wheat pasta, unless for some reason you prefer the shitty taste of wheat over regular.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Someone told me about that insulin spike you get from pasta. I was always skeptical about that so I cut it out of my diets. Now I know I can eat it again!

Yeah, dont sweat it. Almost all pastas have a GI index rating lower than 40, some lower than 30. Thats good.

well there are alot of misunderstandings about carbs floating around among the "eveningpost esperts" that teaches people that carbs are bad. carbs are sugar and insulin is the worst thing that has ever happend.

I have even read article about a woman doctor! yes, a doctor that teaches that carbs are bad but cream and cheese and all the saturated fats are fine.
