You're doing science wrong lmao
It must be nice to know everything.![]()
Hahaha I wish I did. Knowledge is addictive that's for sure![]()
That's the idea behind my research.
I even dropped the dosage to 1/3 of what I was giving them originally.
Still massive increase in blood pressure, heat, confusion and overall joint/body pains.
Aneurysm was a very real concern.
You sure about increased BP? Viagra and cialis are vasodilators and viagra initially was manufsctured as a blood pressure medication to lower blood pressure
Gorillas couldn't even move without doubling over in pain.
Every little flex or valsalva-ish maneuver would result in pounding headaches.
The dilation may have compounded the problem.
Don't say you'll never see a 450 squat, that's not that much and iTS totally possible. I was squatting 475 my senior year of high school during the offseason at a body weight of 185. First year of college I got to ~525 at 193lbs but lower BF. it's completely possible and likely if you stick to good programming after SS. 5/3/1 can take you well beyond that. Plus if you're ultimate goal is BB'ing you'll need to get bigger than ~170lbs or whatever you weigh and once you do that it won't be a 3x BW squat anymore.
If you want added arm work I'd include chins and pull ups into the program. Do pull ups or chins on the Monday workout and add the other to the Friday workout. Go Bw to failure until you can add weight then add weight to get a 5-7rep failure when you can do 10+ BW. Also if you want more work do 3sets of 8-10 BB curls and lying tricep extensions on the Friday workout after everything else.
I think you're making the right choice and focusing on fundamentals. Time will tell if I'm right or not![]()
HOLY POOP. That's where my mystery package came from! I TOTALLY forgot and was going nuts trying to figure it out! The sender name looked familiar, but I totally had a senior moment.Niiiice. My shirt is white though.
Pretty sweet promotion imo, I can always use the stims that came too.
It seems like a lot to me. Squats have always been a weak point for me. My PR is only like 255x3. I'm getting close to that again, and will definitely break that PR... but I can already feel my form slowly going to shit with each increase in weight. I think I mainly need to work on being more explosive coming out of the hole.
Cap, I think I may have found out why your Chobani's have been fizzing up on you:
Chobani Yogurt -Private: News -Voluntary Recall of Small Quantity of Product Produced at Chobani Idaho Facility - Chobani Yogurt
LOL it was kinda a dead give away for me when it was addressed to "cptfknplanet". Mine is white too hahaha my phone doesn't like the lighting in my room for some reason. My built-in webcam on my laptop takes better pictures.
For sure! Yeah, I haven't even heard of most of the stuff. It's always nice to try new shit out though. Especially when it's free![]()
I don't remember how tall you are, but you could try a wider stance. Some of us just need a wider than shoulder-width stance for optimal spinal alignment and hip activation. You could also try using that hip adductor/abductor machine that you'll see women on usually. I know Dennis was using it and it helped him tremendously. Worth a shot.![]()
Yeah, definitely going to be testing some of it out. If it blows my hair back, I'll have to give them some advertising in a thread or something out of appreciation.![]()
Are the gorillas on any type of nitrates or nitrites? Anything else that affects BP?
Can't say they're on nitrates/nitrites.
I don't give them any PWO's, pump products, protein powders, creatine or even any coffee.
The only thing that could have raised BP besides the sodium they were consuming would have been T3.
You're a medical marvel lol. I don't think T3 affects blood pressure at all. What dose did you give them and at what frequency?
T3 induced an increase in heart rate (beats/min) from 357 +/- 10 (n = 17) to 553 +/- 10 (n = 17), in the pressure-rate-product (mm Hg/min) from 78 400 +/- 4500 (n = 15) to 113 700 +/- 4800 (n = 15), and in the heart weight/body weight ratio (mg/g) from 4.2 +/- 0.2 (n = 20) to 5.8 +/- 0.2 (n = 19).
