donating blood and HRT?

I'm not sure, but I just gave yesterday and I must say that I do feel better. Almost like a release of some sort. Whatever it does it definatly helps.

Your blood work will determine if you should donate.

I donated for the first time about a month ago and it was not bad at all.

I spoke with Red Cross and ask them if men would be denied if they were on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). She assured me they would not get denied for that reason alone.

Right now they are doing double RBC draws and RBC enriched blood is good for the cancer patients.

Wether your on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or not donating is good for the body, its like changing the oil in your car.

I never say anything as i was denied by life source when i tried for the first time. Of course that was after i sat in the waiting area for 30-45min......

I donated today and yes i like the fact that im helping and everything, but it does suck. Not to be an asshole but its not something i really enjoy doing, ive just been doing it every 3months since i started Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to keep the RBC count down and to be honest I wish it was a quick thing but usually even when i make an appointment i still have to wait and then the issue comes up cause my iron levels just read HHH meaning that im too high for the machine. They still take it but its always such a process and i just play stupid...

Once the process is started, then it goes fast... i wanna try donating platelets next time, would that help from having to go every 3 months, anyone know??

one thing i wanna know, what do pro bodybuilders do when they are taking like 600mg of test every few days. Do they donate every other week or something?

The blood bank keeps records of when you last donated. They wont take you any earlier than the minimum waiting period which I think is 3 months.

platelet donation does not pull out red cells. So, that would not serve the purpose of doing the donation to drop crit levels. Just do a "power red" or double red cell donation and you can only do it every 116 days.
