????Do's And Don'ts In Mexico???????

I am going to Mexico anybody have any good advice for good gear. Tips..I have never been their before and will be in L.A. so I figured I make a trip down there...

Please Help...... those who have been there in the last 6 months.

dont drink the water, eat any fruits or vegetables, never take the advertised price for anything, keep an eye on your shit. Some basic principles I live by on my pilgrimages to TJ.

Learn Spanish (if you have the time for this trip, if not, then for future ones), its invaluable. Be careful, always look casual , and try to look as local as possible (grow a moustache..lol), cos crims and shit can spot nervous tourists easily.

There will be guys that approach you in the street and ask you what you want. Stay away from them. They are annoying as shit. If you talk to them they will not go away until you give them money... even if they don't find you what your looking for. The only time that I have ever been hasseled coming back across the border was when one of those guys got in my face and I knocked him on his ass fifty feet from crossing back over. Of course the American border patrol saw this and grilled me for about 30 min. What really sucked was that I happened to have one or two ritalin in my pocket. I had a prescription for it (in America) and he still gave me shit for crossing with it. Basically he wanted to be a dick and that mexican dude gave him the excuse. Anyhow, just wander in... you can find the pharmacias by yourself. I'd stick to the smaller ones that aren't as prominent. Those guys need your business and I think would be more likely to give you good product and want your return business.

ask a cab driver to take you to a "granero" feed and barn . there is usually saddles and horse shit outside to make the place look the part. i know of there is one close to the main strip just acroos from smart and final. remember steroids are legal in mexico. so dont seat the cops to muchjust worry about getting over the border. you can buy your way out of trouble in T.J but not here. have a couple of beers to take the edge off try to stay late at nite that way it looks like you went down to party.

lol, funny shit. theres some fine ass women in this one club i went to. 50 bucks for a half of an hour. i just couldnt pay for pussy (directly). but them hoes where beautiful.
i also got lost in tj. bad thing about it is that it was dusk. i saw an american couple who gave me directions out. never go along. my homie got jacked for 200 bucks by the cops.
what crazy is i really like the city. its like another world.
