A few months back i remember reading an article at bodybuilding.com saying that boxers lay in a bath with some sort of oil mixed into in to drop water weight before fights. It stated that the oil would draw out the water from the skin.

Is there anyone out there that remembers this article and could possibly post the link up. Also anyone that has there own little tricks of the trade apart from using the sauna etc
 
i have a friend whos doing a show this sat and to drop water he was taking dandelion root supps., and some other over the counter diuretics.
 
I have heard of people doing it. I guess it works but since i don't have any experience myself I can't reommend it.

Why don't you just increase your water say 1 1/2 gallons and the day before lower your water intake to 3/4 gallon.

Another way is to increase through the week to your specific day. Some do it this way also.

IE:

Monday: 3/4 gallon
Tuesday: 1 gallon
Wednesday: 1 1/4 gallon
Thursday: 1 1/2 gallon
Friday: 1 3/4 gallon
Saturday: 2 gallon
