dumbell squat

i was thinking of doing dumbell squats instead of barbell because my back keep getting aggrevated. can any one help me out with the form?
 
hows your form w/bb squats?? any vids?? I've never had a prob. w/squats, but thats just me. Sorry, not much help w/db squats. Just making sure u had right form w/bb squats before switching to db squats.
 
You can use a ton more weight with BB squats. Check your form and if you have find it isn't perfect, cut back the weight slightly while you perfect your form. Make sure to have someone else watch you doing squats, don't just do them in the mirror and rely on yourself to judge it.
 
if BB squats are bothering your back then its most likely a form issue
try carrying the bar a little lower on the rear delts rather than on your neck like so many people
 
do you have a bad back to begin with? if so, save your back and switch to leg presses, lunges, and other leg exercises that take the weight off your shoulders. but if it's not a preexisting back problem, then you're pain is probably derived from either a) poor form, b) you have low pain tollerance, or c) you have a new back problem that you're unaware of. (Duh)
