eating before bed

When I cut I have a protein only meal about 30 mins before I retire. Try to eat some lower quality protein so that your body take longer to digest it during sleep. Processing protein also burns the most amount of calories out of all the macronutrients, so that way your body is burning more calls as you sleep. I had a tripple blend shake. I had 1 scoop isolate, 1scoop concentrate and my greens plus. I would also add a little fiber supplement, some flax and 10mg glutamine.
 
i dont eat a few hours before bed... if i do, i keep it to mainly protein and some kinda greens.. no carbs or fat for sure
 
pipes...........what if your trying to bulk and protein is at 300grms which is high, is that gonna kill your gain in weight since protein burns more calories?
 
I always get some sort of protein serving before bed. Usually 30 minutes before bed I will consume cottage cheese, eggs, or maybe even a chicken breast or two. They are slower to digest therefore they resist catabolism over extended periods of time.
 
Eight scrambled egg whites with salsa about 30 minutes to an hour before bedtime for me.

Shakes before bed upset my tummy.
