weighing is the easiest way to determine the macros in a food.
go to www.calorieking.com (or look on the label of the food) and determine how many ounces, grams, pounds, etc it takes to match the amount of protein, fat, or carbs you want, then go and weigh out that amount and eat it.
I have a small preworkout shake about 2 hours after a big, carb-filled breakfast that consists of 15g WPI and 30g carbs from mixed frozen berries. The berries are 15g carbs per 140g on the label, so i weigh out 280g of them, then i weigh 15g WPI, then i blend and drink on the way to the gym.
