Egg Substitutes (Egg Beaters)

Anyone else drink their egg substitute? I was just wondering if there was any significant difference, (in terms of protein utilization), between drinking it and cooking/eating it? I know it is safe to drink as they are pasteurized. . . Any input would be great as it offers me a quick and easy source of quick protein. . .

I guess you could add it to a protein shake, I personally find egg beaters are disgusting, but I like food to taste good and for me eating egg beaters is unnecessary suffering. However, I do love regular eggs and I eat them in everything.

I've been searching for this answer, I hate the taste of egg beaters, just all that stuff they put in it grosses me out, can anyone suggest a good place to buy egg whites jugs online ?

I've tried this. In fact, I incorporate not only uncooked eggs, but sashimi and rare steaks into my diet. I find my body has no adverse reactions to the plentiful uncooked proteins. In addition, as a long term sufferer from anxiety and IBS, I've found my bowel movements to havegreatly improved also.

Wow, I would have thought rare proteins would irritate IBS more than cooked, I like my steaks rare, but I don't think I can eat them raw.
