I just ordered some Prami. I have read a lot on dosing anywhere from .125mg to .5 mg ed before bed. One common theme that keeps popping up is nausea. I was hoping to get some guidance on sides and dosing. I hear a lot about its positive effect on libido but thats at like .5mg dosing. On the other hand I have read other threads where all the replies say at that dose nausea is debilitating. The wikipedia page (copied and pasted below) has a laundry list of common negative sides but says the positive sexual affects only apply to a small percentage of people. Just trying to sift through all the noise and get feedback from people who have actual real experience with Prami. The reason I'm taking it is to counter some negative Tren E sides. Please share your experience with dosing and sides. Thanks!!
Common side effects of pramipexole may include:[15][16]
Headache
Hyperalgesia (body aches and pains)
Nausea and vomiting
Sedation and somnolence
Decreased appetite and subsequent weight loss
Orthostatic hypotension (resulting in dizziness, lightheadedness, and possibly fainting, especially when standing up)
Insomnia
Hallucinations (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting or feeling things that are not there)
Twitching, twisting, or other unusual body movements
Unusual tiredness or weakness
Several unusual adverse effects of pramipexole (and related D3-preferring dopamine agonist medications such as ropinirole) may include compulsive gambling, punding, hypersexuality, and overeating,[17] even in patients without any prior history of these behaviours.[18] These behaviors have been reported to manifest in almost 14% of patients on dopamine agonist therapies. Other compulsive behaviors such as excessive shopping have been reported.[19] L-DOPA is an indirect acting dopamine agonist with no specificity for any receptor subtypes. As it is the precursor for dopamine it is rarely associated with these disorders. These side effects are thought to be linked to the D3 activity of pramipexole, as D3 receptors are heavily expressed in brain regions involved in mood, behavior, and reward.[20]
