Fatiuge and brain fog primary symptoms?

Anybody with low t have fatigue and brain fog as their primary symptoms? I've been burning through google but most of what I see is middle age men fighting issues with low libido and ED.

A quick background. I'm 29 and I've been dealing with sleep apnea for the last eight years and it's effectively been treated for the last two. Even though it's been treated with CPAP I've still been excessively tired for the last two years. Recently got tested for narcolepsy and I showed no signs of it. I did have some blood tests done though and the two things that came up were low total testosterone and some high epstien-bar antigens (theory as a possible cause for chronic fatigue). The TT came in a 194 but the blood draw was at 3 in the afternoon. I'm going in tomorrow morning to have both free and total tested. I'm also scheduled to see a urologist on the 9th. I have no problems with ED but I'd probably classify my libido as lazy. I always chalked it up to just being tired. Over the last eight years I've gained quite a bit of weight (I'm 5'11" and went from 170 to 220) but I've also lost a lot of muscle mass even while still working out when I could.

Anyways back to my original question, for you guys that have been around awhile have you seen guys come through with fatigue and brain fog as their chief complaint? Also any anecdotal stuff on how fatigue improved and how long it took once on TRT? Again sorry for the question but through google most of what I find is someone trying to sell you something or stuff that related ED and low libido.

Those are common symptoms of hypogonadism. Read the Basic TRT Overview sticky thread in this forum for more insight on hypogonadism.

Check your TSH and Prolactin too when you get labs again.

Let us know what your results are.

Yes, those are two major symptoms. My fatigue and fog was terrible. And it went away almost instantly when testosterone and estrogen were brought into balance.

Absolutely. The fatigue was crippling and the brain fog left me feeling like a zombie. I'd say that the majority of hypogonadal men experience these symptoms.

I'm one of those guys. Fatigue and brain fog were the primary reasons why I looked into TRT, and not ED.

I've been dealing with fatigue and brain fog for much of my life, and have looked into just about every possible cause. I've been tested for Lyme disease, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, various allergies, thyroid issues, chronic fatigue.....

a couple of years ago I looked really hard at porn use as a possible cause, (check out Your Brain On Porn) and lo and behold curtailing that did make a difference. But after over a year of dealing with that I realized that it wasn't the only issue. I took a hard look at low T again and decided to bite the bullet and go for it back in August. I'm still working things out but I must say it has made a difference.

Fatigue, brain fog and general low energy and problems with concentration are the main reasons I looked into TRT.

Make sure your doctor also checks B vitamins, specially B12 and D3.
Also insist that you them LH, FSH, Estradiol, SHBG and Free Testosterone to be checked.

3 in the afternoon is a terrible time for a blood test, specially for testosterone.

When searching for information Google is not a good source, unless you use Google Scholar.

National Center for Biotechnology Information is also a great source. If you cannot find the full research papers, use the title in Google Scholar and sometimes you can view the full paper.
