Favorite Mass-Building Foods

I have to agree
Whole milk--drink a gallon a day
Eggs--4 to 5 eggs a day
I prefer pork tenderloin to beef mainly for cost and most beef is too tough--a good steak is a great treat
The key to bulking is to love to eat.

Huskyguy - Do you add protein to the milk or just drink it plain. Also, what do you eat throughout the day in addition to all that milk?

i agree to drinking a gallon of milk a day but what do u do when u also drink a gallon of water a day thats two gallons of liquid its kinda hard.

Gotta just gradually increase the amount and your body will get used to it. I've done two gallons of milk and a gallon of water in addition to other food...just takes getting used to, that's all.

Whole milk is the perfect balance of protein / fats. Nothing should be added to it. Adding fat free protein powder will skew the natural balance.

I eat everything in sight.

Shrimp & Lobster linguini (Red Lobster)
Pizza
N-Large

4 medium sized meals a day, plus two N-Large shakes a day, in addition to a gallon of water a day (only during workouts) equals a gain of 23 lbs.in 3 weeks for me.

Marshall - I agree that milk (and whole eggs too) are in perfect balance for fat:protein. You can add in some protein powder though. Just add some whipping cream to bring up the fat content. (ala-Rheo Blair)

I don't believe in everything and anything, My new favorite protein souce is tuna steaks, and salmon steaks a friend of mine went on an ocean fishing trip and came back with a hell of a lot of fish. His family hates fish so he gave most of it to me, now my freezer is filled with tuna and salmon steaks.

Yep, agreed 100 %, you should see my protein drinks

krieg, if you add that with another 4000 clean calories that would be good for a bulker right ? but would you eat that on training days or off days and what time of day would you eat that ?

thanks.

my fav bulking meal is around 1 lb of lean steak and a baked potato with fat free cheese melted on top, I would save that for the last meal of the day right after I work out.

I was taking n large for the past 3 months, but it was time for a change i just picked up some ON whey and I am going to be just drinking 4 shakes a day as apposed to 1 shake a day of n large. I am going to see how it goes, as for the whipping cream.. should i add that to my protein and milk combo how many extra calories are in the whipping cream?

As for my diet, i am an ecto and i am a college student, i get to eat 3 times a day at the buffet cafeteria, i eat pizza egg whites hamburgers salads each time i go in there. That times 3 times a day + milk + shakes+ 3 more meals of pasta and tuna = mass
